Privacy Act: Who May Look at Folder with confidential papers in itYour OGE 450?

The bottom line: your form is confidential

Your OGE 450 (and any alternative financial disclosure form to the OGE 450 for which your agency has received approval) is considered to be a confidential financial disclosure report (as opposed to other financial disclosure reports which can be released to the public). As such, it can be released only in the specific circumstances previously stated.

More information on the Privacy Act can be found on OGE's web site. See OGE/GOVT–2 (Confidential Statements of Employment and Financial Interests) as given in 68 FR 3097-3109 (1/22/03), " Privacy Act of 1974; Systems of Records Action: Notice of proposed new and revised systems of records." (PDF HTML TXT), as corrected at 68 FR 24744 (5/8/03). (PDF HTML TXT)
