Want more? Here are some additional tips:

• For Trusts/Partnerships: remember also to report the underlying holdings. It's not necessary to report the fact that these assets are held in such an account.
• For any IRA's or 401(k) plans: you only have to report the underlying holdings. It's not necessary to report the fact that these assets are held in such an account.
• Annuities: If it's a "variable" annuity, you must breakout the individual holdings. It's not necessary to report the fact that these assets are held in such an account.
• Don't forget to report assets that earned income over $200 during the reporting period, even if no longer held

Finally, many filers find it helpful to use their previously submitted form as a guide to fill out a new form. You might consider saving a copy for yourself for use next year.
