Tips for
Completion
In order to make it easier to fill out the OGE Form 450 and to minimize the amount of follow-up questions, OGE suggests the following:
- Many filers find it helpful to have their information ready when they fill out the form. For example, if you have a number of individual stocks, many brokerages with online access will allow you to create a print-out for the time period covered by the form
- Don't forget to report your spouse's employment, pension or other retirement plans, and your spouse's and any dependent children's assets
- If you have nothing to report in a particular part, don't forget to check the corresponding "no" box on the form's cover page
- Always remember to give the correct, full name of any stock, bond or mutual fund. It's helpful (but not required) if you give the stock/mutual fund ticker symbol if you know it and are sure it's correct
