What's New in the OGE Form 450?

Changes in Part I: Assets and Income

You no longer have to report:

• Any diversified mutual funds. A diversified mutual fund is one that does not have a stated policy of concentrating its investments in any industry, business, single country other than the U.S., or bonds of a single state. You still have to report any sector mutual funds which you, your spouse or your dependents own.
• The type of income you receive or earn, with the exception of any honoraria you get.

OGE made these changes to simplify reporting for you. In addition, these changes were made because (in general) the type of investment income you have received, and whether you own a diversified mutual fund, do not raise substantial ethics concerns.
