Why Did OGE Change 
the Form?
The Office of Government Ethics published a notice in August 2005 that it intended to modify the OGE 450 Form to:
- improve its clarity and design
- streamline some of the reporting requirements
- change in part the information that it collects
But those weren't the only reasons.
The modifications also are intended to make it easier for you to complete the form electronically. OGE is working toward having a system in place in the future which will not only allow for electronic completion of the form but also for electronic filing.
