The Standards of Conduct contain some of the basic obligations of public service for Government employees. This module is primarily concerned with Subpart G of the Standards of Conduct relating to the "Misuse of Position."

Subpart G consolidates four general principles contained in the Standards of Conduct that are directed at preventing the misuse of public office. This module will make you aware of the misuse of position provisions, why we have them, and how these rules affect you as a Federal employee.
