SUBJECT:       Ethics Training for Special Government Employees

     The Office of Government Ethics (OGE) has created an online course called “Ethics Training for Special Government Employees.”  The course is an interactive web-based training module designed to be completed in about one hour and is intended for use by special Government employees (SGEs).  It contains a summary of the ethics laws and rules that apply to SGEs, and may be appropriate as part of either your initial or annual ethics training program.  We hope this course will help to increase SGE awareness of applicable ethics standards and principles, which is one of the goals described in OGE’s strategic plan.
