SUBJECT:  Concurrent Session Proposals for the 1998 Annual Government
          Ethics Conference

     The Office of Government Ethics (OGE) has begun to plan for the 1998
Annual Government Ethics Conference which will be held September 14 through
17, 1998, at the Marriott Hotel in Williamsburg, Virginia.  OGE is again
soliciting your input on concurrent and plenary sessions to include in the
conference program.  Attached please find a concurrent session proposal
sheet on which to submit your ideas and thoughts about sessions you would
like to conduct or attend at this year's conference.
 
     1998 marks the 20th anniversary of the Ethics in Government Act.  OGE
is currently working on incorporating some special sessions and speakers to
observe this special anniversary and would also appreciate any ideas,
comments or thoughts you might have in this regard.

     Please submit your proposals no later than February 27, 1998, by
mailing or faxing a completed proposal sheet to:
