Mullen-Roth Associate Director for Education SUBJECT: Ordering Information for the Office of Government Ethics' New Training Videos: "The Revolving Door" and "The Battle for Avery Mann" The Office of Government Ethics (OGE) is pleased to announce the availability of two new training videotapes. "The Revolving Door" is a news show that addresses the issues surrounding the seeking employment and post-employment restrictions on executive branch employees. Throughout the show, you are also provided periodic updates from a reporter covering a Congressional Hearing on Capitol Hill focused on one employee's possible violation of the post-employment law. Running time: approximately 20 minutes. "The Battle for Avery Mann" is the story of an average executive branch employee's struggles with the rules governing every day conduct. Throughout the story, Avery is faced with different dilemmas including using Government equipment for personal documents, accepting a gift from a subordinate and working on a project that involves his outside employer. Avery finds himself caught between what he knows is the right thing to do and what may not be right but would be more convenient or beneficial to him. Running time: approximately 20 minutes. INFOCUS in Herndon, Virginia will be the distributor for VHS copies of both videotapes. Copies ordered through OGE will cost $2.00 each. Copies ordered directly through INFOCUS will cost $3.10 each. Please note, INFOCUS will add a $4.00 handling charge to each order. Postage/delivery options can be found on the attached order form. Prices for postage/delivery will vary depending on the size of the order and the selected method of shipment. INFOCUS will bill you directly and payment must be made directly to INFOCUS. Please do not send payments to OGE. INFOCUS has agreed to accept payment in the form of checks, money orders, VISA credit cards, or purchase orders. Any other form of payment is not acceptable. OGE will forward orders for the videotapes in batches. The first batch will be forwarded on February 3, 1997.
