Database Improves Efficiency of Tracking Financial Disclosure Reports
Ethics officials efficiently track the status of financial disclosure reports through the use of a Microsoft Access database. The database allows ethics officials to easily track whether or not reports have been collected, the status of review for reports that have been collected, and the dates on which reports were certified. This is a relatively simple but effective method for keeping up with a financial disclosure program. There are many database and spreadsheet software programs available that can provide similar functionality for almost any ethics program.
