The specific contracting roles and functions covered by the Procurement Integrity Act are as follows:

  1. serving as program manager, deputy program manager, or administrative contracting officer for a contract over $10,000,000;
  2. making a decision to award a contract, subcontract, modification of a contract or task or delivery order over $10,000,000;
  3. making a decision to establish overhead or other rates for a contract or contracts for a particular contractor over $10,000,000;
  4. making a decision to issue payments over $10,000,000 to a particular contractor;
  5. making a decision to pay or settle a claim over $10,000,000 with a particular contractor.

So, if you serve in one of these positions or are involved in one of these functions, be sure to get advice from your ethics officials before you begin seeking employment with a contractor.
