What is a "Prohibited Source?"

A person or entity is a prohibited source of gifts for you, if that person or entity:

• Is seeking official action by your agency
• Does business or seeks to do business with your agency
• Conducts activities regulated by your agency
• Has interests that may be substantially affected by the performance or non-performance of your official duties

Therefore, any contractor working for your agency or any prospective contractor, and any employees of those contractors are prohibited sources of gifts to you .
