In this section we learned about:

• Prohibited sources of gifts and travel
• Exceptions to the general prohibition on accepting gifts from prohibited sources
• Gifts from people with whom you have a personal relationship
• Gifts from your spouse's employer
• Hiring Government contractors to do personal work
• Gifts of attendance to widely attended gatherings and other events

While in some cases you may accept a gift from a contractor, you should use care when using any of the exceptions. You should especially remember that it's never inappropriate to decline a gift.
